In 1983, the Apple Pitts (Pittsburgh's premier Apple user group) had a contest for the best food/computer puns. The result is "Take a Byte at the Apple Cafe". Reading it now, 20 years later, reminds me of the state of the art at that time. Some have no relevance today- for instance, we ued PEEK and POKE a lot in subroutines. No one uses a notcher anymore. When we refer to an LCD screen, we mean something very small. Pull down menus were a new feature.
