Bunny



Is it a bunny or is it a duck? This bunny game will amaze and amuse your youngest grandchildren.
Here are a couple of Bunny crafts you can do with your grandchildren. Click here for a full size pattern of the bunny/duck. You can print it directly from the web, or you can save it to your paint program and scale it before printing.
Color one side as a bunny (following the example above). Then color the other side as a duck.
Hold the bunny duck by the bunny tail/duck foot protrusion, and flick from one side to the other with wrist action. It will appear to change magically from one animal to the other. Even when the little one has the bunny/duck in his own hands, he will continue to be amazed. "How does it work, grandma?"







Bunny Eggs

These cute bunnies are easy to make, but even older children should be supervised because of the hot glue gun.
Ingredients:
  • Plastic eggs, the kind that split into two halves
  • Colored cardboard for feet
  • Colored felt for ears and noses
  • small pom-poms for noses and muzzles
  • cotton balls for tails
  • googly eyes
  • Glue gun
  • permanent "Sharpie" pen for drawing mouths & whiskers
With the glue gun we affix the various parts to the egg, and draw on the whiskers and mouth. We put jelly beans in some, small change in others and one might just be filled with a dollar bill! Then the bunny eggs are hidden around the yard - those with the jelly beans are brightly colored and placed in easy to see places. Those with the coins are better hidden and the dollar bunny egg is really well hidden!
