Dravo Cemetery - MM25

100 years ago there was a large Methodist Church here, which served parishoners on both sides of the river. Twice it burned and was rebuilt; the third time that cinders from a passing train lit the roof the congregation moved to the other other side of the river.

The cemetery remains and is managed by the Elizabeth Historical Society.
There are several picnic tables and a portapotty, and an area has been cleared that will eventually be used for camping.
This is a favorite stop. A little over 5 miles from Boston, it makes a good turning point for an easy morning's ride.
