Eric Foster was hired by Tim Wible as Smith's designer from 1971-97. This is his studio, just as he left it...

Eric passed away in 2000, suffering from the emphysema he blamed on the gunsmoke that filled the tank he commanded in WWII. That's his beloved Aeronca Chief...real airplanes are taildraggers, he always told me:-)

He participated in the liberation of Paris,
serving in the Free French Army.
