Deborah Schneider
Deborah Schneider was born in Vienna, Austria and lived in New Delhi, Toronto and Rome. While in Italy she discovered her passion for painting. This passion manifested itself in taking lessons and attending exhibitions culminating in her decision to pursue a career in the arts. She graduated with an Associates of Arts degree from Colby Sayer College in New London, NH and received a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the Moore College of Art, Philadelphia, PA. She continues to exercise her passion for painting. Deborah often seeks inspiration from the beautiful Adirondack Mountains including Saranac Lake and Lake Placid landscapes which she visits annually with her husband Paul. She recently retired as Design Manager for Bassett Furniture in the Greater Washington, DC area. Deborah?s art would beautify any interior in which it is exhibited whether residential or corporate.
Primarily a realist watercolor painter, her subject matter ? while diverse ? seems to almost always convey a true peacefulness in an impressionistic style. Her work can be found in various collections and may also be seen online and at Lalo Galleries in Front Royal and Luray, Virginia.
