An artist who specializes in acrylic and watercolor paintings, her style is impressionistic and focused on painting ordinary, often overlooked objects or landscapes that may otherwise be taken for granted. She may paint the teapot on the stove, a couple of potatoes sitting on the countertop, or the sneakers tossed into the corner of the room. Barbara?s art motto is: ?Less is More.?

Barbara views art as a form of self-expression, she works very quickly and often using vibrant colors. Her favorite way to work is using leftover paint on the palette without any planning or intention, and she is often surprised by what she calls ?Happy accidents?.

A graduate of the University of Maryland University College with a BS degree in Business Management and a minor in studio art, she also has a certificate in commercial art from Art Instruction Schools in Minnesota.
